The fifth day of the Grand Australian Ride starts at Adelaide in South Australia and ends in Port Augusta in South Australia. The route goes through Port Wakefield. The weather was a little chilly but clear. The total ride was 318 kms and took 7 hours and 20 minutes approx. Stopped for fuel in Lower Light, South Australia. I passed through “The Pink Lake” also known as Lake Bumbunga near Port Wakefield. Along the way saw a lot of farmland for wheat production. Finish in Port Augusta and stayed at Discovery Park. Had Indian food for dinner at Indian Indulgences.
