Started the day early as the ride was long. One of the rear days when I ride in darkness. First stop was Hi-way inn at Daly Waters. This is where A1 goes to McArthur. I didn’t go that was as road conditions are quite bad and would be too risky for the whole project. So taking a diversion via Mt Isa which mean I ride 300-400 kms more. Saw a old broken down plane. Stopped at Elliot for fuel. Next stop at Renner Springs. Met Ralph and Craig. Father (Ralph) – son (Craig) duo. Ralph had done Paris Dakar and Craig had rode around Australia for 2 years. Finally reach 3 ways roadhouse. Finish off with veggie burger 😜😂. Had a company of a frog the whole night. Called it Mavji.😜
