Started the day with a quick stop at Bundaberg barrel. It’s was closed so I continued on my journey. After about one and a half hour or 70kms approx finally joined the A1 at Childers. Filled fuel at ISIS river fuel station. Made me wonder about how they would feel about their town’s name in today’s world! There were some ponies in the farm next to the pump. Stop for a snack around the exit for Fraser Island. Passed by Gympie, a mining town. Keep me wondering on how to speak the name correctly! After Gumpie the “A1” changed to “M1” now we have FOUR lanes. Good for all those impatient drivers who had to que nahi diya me. 😜 Next stop was Yandina. Checked out the sundial and went straight for Ginger factory. Had a nice veggie lunch and got back on M1. Arrived in Brisbane. Stopped for fuel. Went through the city (wanting to check out the city). Big mistake – got stuck in traffic. Finally arrived at accomodation. Check out Asian mall next door with at least 3 dozen restaurants! Most of them serving veggie food. Is this heaven! 😂
